Une étude de vos goûts et de la typologie de vos invités sera faite en amont soit lors d'un rendez-vous physique ou via Skype ou WhatsApp. Nous parlerons de vos styles musicaux préférés, des générations, des nationalités, du dress code, du lieu et du déroulé. 

 En amont, nous définirons les différentes étapes clés de votre futur évènement :

- L'esprit général de la musique : les titres que vous souhaitez absolument entendre, ceux à éviter (wishlist / Black list), la présence du DJ au micro (plutôt animateur ou relativement discret), etc.

Il n'existe pas de soirée type, l'essentiel étant que la programmation musicale du DJ soit en phase avec vos attentes et avec vos invités. Que ce soit les musiques généralistes et appartenant à l'inconscient collectif : pop, années 60, 70, 80, zouk, biguine, rock and roll, twist, rétro pour les « anciens » : valses, pasos, tangos, cha-cha, madisons, etc. Les musiques d'ambiance : tubes de l'été, disco, standards, ou encore les styles plus ciblés : rock français, new-wave, funk, reggae, dance, r’n'b, etc.

- Les besoins: vous avez besoin d’un rétroprojecteur pour votre mariage, vous souhaitez faire un discours, vous prévoyez des jeux, un diaporama photos, une mise en lumières particulière, etc. 

- La configuration de la salle, les contraintes : Nous définirons ensemble l'emplacement idéal pour le DJ, Est-ce qu'il y a une scène ? Quelle est la taille, le volume de la salle ? Son accessibilité ? L'électricité ? Présence d’un sonomètre, d’un limiteur?

- Les horaires : Nous conviendrons d'une heure de fin pour que la soirée se finisse en apothéose et pour anticiper sur le démontage du matériel, la fermeture de la salle et la remise des clés. L'heure de fin d'une soirée peut varier suivant l'ambiance générale, le nombre et l'âge des invités, la fatigue de la journée, la durée du repas, etc.

Important : une soirée longue n’est pas forcément un gage de réussite ou de bonne ambiance, bien au contraire. Un bon déboulement avec un début calé et une fin en apothéose laissera bien plus de souvenirs et d'émotions à vos invités !

- The general spirit of the music: the titles you absolutely want to hear, those to avoid (wish list / Black list), the presence of the DJ at the microphone (rather animator or relatively discreet), etc.

There is no such thing as a typical evening, the main thing being that the DJ's musical programming is in line with your expectations and with your guests. Whether it is generalist music and belonging to the collective unconscious: pop, 60s, 70s, 80s, zouk, biguine, rock and roll, twist, retro for the "old ones": waltzes, tangos, cha-cha, madisons, etc. Background music: summer hits, disco, standards, or even more targeted styles: French rock, new-wave, funk, reggae, dance, r'n'b, etc.

- The needs: you need an overhead projector for your wedding, you want to give a speech, you are planning games, a photo slideshow, special lighting, etc.

- The configuration of the room, the constraints: We will define together the ideal location for the DJ, Is there a stage? What is the size, the volume of the room? Its accessibility? Electricity? Presence of a sound level meter, a limiter?

- Schedules: We will agree on an end time so that the evening ends in apotheosis and to anticipate the dismantling of the equipment, the closing of the room and the handing over of the keys. The end time of an evening may vary depending on the general atmosphere, the number and age of the guests, the fatigue of the day, the length of the meal, etc.

Important: a long evening is not necessarily a guarantee of success or a good atmosphere, on the contrary. A good tumble with a stalled start and an apotheosis end will leave many more memories and emotions to your guests!
